THE CREATION
Kelly Calèche is a nod to two iconic Hermès objects: the Kelly bag and the calèche, a horse-drawn carriage and the house’s signature. Kelly Calèche was created in 2007 by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena. This “perfume exuding leather and flowers, as light as an angel’s wing” is dedicated to women who exhibit free-spirited elegance and whose unisex equestrian style refuses to take itself too seriously.

OLFACTORY NOTES
A floral and leathery fragrance, Kelly Calèche eau de toilette is like a gentle caress in which the sweet notes of rose and powdery mimosa mingle with elegant vetiver.

THE OBJECT
Designer Philippe Mouquet has embellished the emblematic bottle, inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages, with mischievous details: the metal plate and the turn lock, both central to the Kelly bag’s clasp.

A reminder of a visit to the Hermès leather storehouse, Kelly Calèche is a light, feminine, joyous expression of leather. It gives a nod to two emblems of the house, and translates the perfumer’s tactile and olfactory emotions into an evocation of leather worn next to the skin, gently tanned by the touch and embroidered with fresh petals.
